How Points Are
Calculated
StoxPlay uses a transparent, fair scoring system based purely on real stock market performance. Here's everything you need to know.
Core Point Formula
No caps: There's no maximum or minimum on points. A stock gaining 10% earns 100 pts; a stock losing 5% loses 50 pts.
Captain & Vice-Captain Multipliers
Assign Captain and Vice-Captain roles to your best picks to multiply their fantasy points. This is your biggest strategic lever.
| Stock | Role | % Change | Base | Final |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TCS | Captain | +3.0% | 30 | 60 |
| HDFC Bank | Vice-Capt | +1.5% | 15 | 22.5 |
| Infosys | Regular | -1.0% | -10 | -10 |
| Reliance | Regular | +0.8% | 8 | 8 |
| Total Portfolio Score | 80.5 | |||
Strategy tip: Choose your Captain wisely — the multiplier works both ways. A 5% gaining Captain earns 100 pts, but a 5% losing one costs 100 pts.
